John Chen

Biography

John Chen is a portfolio development manager located in Shanghai. He is 20-year veteran of Intel and joined Intel Capital in 2022.

In his role, John is responsible for managing Intel Capital portfolio companies’ business development activities in China, collaborating closely with Intel’s business units to utilize their technical expertise to help portfolio companies succeed.

Prior to Intel Capital, John was the Sales Development Manager of Team Alibaba, responsible for driving Intel’s portfolio growth and new technology exploration in Alibaba Cloud through engagement with both Intel and Alibaba’s end user and ecosystem partner in multiple verticals. Before that, he was the Account Manager of Team Baidu leading to drive Sell-in growth and Business innovation in SMG, system design Engineer leading Quality Engineering in DCG.

John holds MBA from FuDan University and BS in Information Engineering from Central South University.

John loves golf, bicycling and skiing with his wife, son and daughter.
