Ran Kurup is a Managing Director and the Head of Global Portfolio Development located in Hillsboro, OR. He joined Intel Capital in 2016.
In his role, he and his team are responsible for accelerating the growth of Intel Capital portfolio companies by aligning them with Intel’s worldwide sales organization and Global 2000 customers to identify strategic partnering and sales opportunities. His team also collaborates closely with Intel’s business units to utilize their technical expertise to help portfolio companies succeed. The work he and his team have done over the years has helped entrepreneurs acquire new customers, accelerate their product development, and reach new geos and verticals.
Prior to Intel Capital, Ran has held various leadership positions in business strategy, product development and marketing at Intel Corporation. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. He enjoys riding his bike with his family in his spare time.
